2015-2016 Box Tops Totals

Screen Shot 2016-06-05 at 3.58.36 PM

WOW! What a fun Box Tops competition we had this year. Each month I delivered trophies to the winning K-3 and 4-6 grade classroom with the most Box Tops for that month. It was so much fun seeing the smiles on the students’ faces when they realized they won.

The worst part was having to take the trophy from the pervious month’s winners. Watching me grab that trophy and walk out of the classroom with it was a huge motivator for some classrooms. I was frequently asked “how much did they beat us by?” These students WANTED that trophy!

Ms. Snarski’s class won the end of the year K-3 grade pizza party by collecting 1679 Box Tops and Mrs. Coniglio’s class won the 4-6 grade pizza party by collecting 1217 Box Tops.

Last week I mailed off the final Box Tops collected March-May totaling $640! What a great end of the year total! That puts our 2015-2016 total at just over $1800. Way to go!

*the year end total and total on the sheet don’t match up because Bonus Box Tops and loose Box Tops that weren’t assigned to a classroom weren’t added in on the chart

Edison Carnival + 50th Birthday

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our school’s 50th Birthday. This event would not be possible with out the help of our PTA parents and teachers volunteering to help set up, work games booths, and tear down at the end. THANK YOU volunteers!

We also would not have been able to have such a fun raffle basket give away without the generosity of the Edison parents, staff, and community. Thank you to everyone who donated items for our raffle baskets.

Many local businesses very generously donated passes and gift cards to our raffle so our Edison families could have FUN experiences this summer.

These generous businesses include:

Premier Dental
Flagship Commons
Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
The Rose Children’s Theater
Omaha Children’s Museum
Moylan Iceplex
Kindermusik
Strategic Air Command and Space Museum

Thank you all for your support of the Edison PTA! All funds raised at the Carnival help support PTA activities during the 2016-2017 school year.
